Polynucleotides

New Skin-renewing Powers

Polynucleotides are new in the beauty treatment world. They're becoming popular for their skin-renewing powers. These substances help fix and improve the skin with little risk. They work slowly but can improve skin on the face, scalp, and body when used with other treatments.

Polynucleotides are long DNA chains from salmon or trout, used as an injectable liquid. They vary in purity, and I choose the best ones for my clients at Skin Enhance and Wellness. We offer a top brand called Plinest and a mix called Newest that also includes hyaluronic acid, which helps lift and renew skin.

They work by blending into your skin and encouraging cells to grow and repair, boosting skin health and reducing wrinkles. They also fight skin damage and help heal wounds, making skin look better and tighter over time. But, results take time, usually showing after 3 months.

The treatment involves injecting into the skin. It can cause some swelling but generally heals without issues. You won't see immediate changes as the treatment works deep in the skin cells.

Polynucleotides can be used on many body parts, including for hair growth. They're preferred in certain areas because they don't cause swelling like some other treatments. It's best to talk in person to decide the right treatment for you.

They're safe, even for those allergic to fish, and have no long-term risks. They're different from dermal fillers, which provide volume and show quick results but don't improve skin in the long term.

Profhilo, another treatment, mainly hydrates and boosts collagen for a fresh look but doesn't have the same regenerative effects as polynucleotides. Polynucleotides, especially in products like Plinest, work slower but help the skin repair itself in many ways.

Skin boosters improve skin short-term with hydration, while polynucleotides offer longer-lasting improvements by supporting skin health at a deeper level. They're unique because they can prepare the skin for other treatments and give natural-looking results. If you're interested, you can book a consultation through the link below.
